The Table is a House Church Network in Mesa, AZ with an emphasis on reaching out to the community, providing a place of authenticity and experimenting with new ways to be the church.
Our Faith
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, revealing his will for our salvation and serving as the authoritative guide for faith and Christian living. Following the pattern of the early church in the book of Acts, we look to Scripture to shape how we gather, worship, and make disciples.
We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. As a community of Christ, we gather at the table to know, worship, and serve this God together.
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human, who died for our sins and rose again so that all people might be reconciled to God. We are committed to following Jesus and becoming apprentices who live as he lived.
We believe that God, through his prevenient grace, draws all people to himself, and that salvation comes through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Our doors and our hearts are open to everyone who would respond to this invitation.
In the Wesleyan-holiness tradition of the Church of the Nazarene, we believe the Holy Spirit cleanses and empowers believers to love God and neighbor wholeheartedly. We pursue this transforming work of grace as we grow together intentionally and biblically as disciples.
