1. Agreement to Terms

By using PewSearch ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. PewSearch is operated by ChurchWiseAI LTD ("we," "us," or "our").

2. What PewSearch Is

PewSearch is a church directory for the United States and Canada. The Service allows users to search for churches and allows churches to claim and manage their listings. Premium features include enhanced church profiles, AI-powered voice agents, and AI chatbots.

3. Accounts and Registration

To claim a church listing or subscribe to premium services, you must provide accurate information and maintain the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to represent the church you are claiming.

4. Church Listings

PewSearch includes church information sourced from public databases. If your church is listed and you have not claimed it, the information is based on publicly available data.

When you claim your church listing, you represent that you are authorized to do so. You agree to provide accurate information about your church. We reserve the right to remove listings that contain false or misleading information, or that do not represent a legitimate Christian congregation.

Our directory focuses on Christian churches whose beliefs are consistent with the historic Apostles' Creed. We reserve the right to remove listings that do not meet this criterion.

5. Premium Subscriptions

Premium features (Premium Pages, AI Voice Agent) are offered on a subscription basis. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance.

Free Preview: New Premium Page subscribers receive a 14-day free preview. You will not be charged until after the preview period, and you may cancel before being charged.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your admin panel. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial periods, except where required by law.

Price Changes: We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Price changes do not affect your current billing period.

6. AI Voice Agent

The AI Voice Agent is a technology service that answers phone calls on behalf of your church using artificial intelligence. By subscribing, you acknowledge that:

  • Calls are handled by an AI, not a human staff member
  • Calls may be recorded and transcribed
  • Callers will be informed they are speaking with an AI system
  • You are responsible for complying with applicable recording consent laws in your state
  • AI responses may occasionally be inaccurate; you should monitor call logs regularly

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not use PewSearch to:

  • Post false, misleading, or deceptive church information
  • Scrape or systematically download church data without our written permission
  • Spam or harass other users or churches
  • Interfere with the security or integrity of the Service
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

8. Intellectual Property

The PewSearch platform, design, and software are owned by ChurchWiseAI LTD. Church data you provide (your church name, description, photos) remains your property. By submitting content, you grant us a license to display it on the Service.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE CHURCH DIRECTORY IS COMPLETE, ACCURATE, OR UP TO DATE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE AI VOICE AGENT WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR ALWAYS AVAILABLE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CHURCHWISEAI LTD IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. We will notify registered users by email before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first; if that fails, through binding arbitration.
