St. Paul's Episcopal Church is a faith community shaped around ancient practices of Christian worship that include prayer, song, study, and celebration, emphasizing God's love for all.
Our Faith
Rooted in the English Reformation, we embrace the Anglican tradition as a 'middle way' between Protestant and Catholic expressions of Christianity. Episcopalians may hold different ways of believing, but share a common way of gathering and praying.
Our unity is found not in uniform belief but in shared worship through the Book of Common Prayer. Liturgy, sacraments, and gathered prayer shape our life together and form us in faith.
We hold the Bible as the foundational story of God's relationship with humanity, read in community and engaged through study, questioning, and prayer. Scripture is approached with curiosity, depth, and openness to the Spirit's ongoing work.
We believe in the Triune God revealed in Jesus Christ, and we gather to explore who God is, why Jesus matters, and what it means to live faithfully. Knowing and being known by God grounds our lives in joy, resilience, and hope.
We believe all people are beloved children of God and are welcomed fully into the life of the church. Our community is committed to inclusion, accessibility, and honoring the dignity of every human being.

Visiting Our Parish
Free parking is available near the church at 1710 E Superior St. Plan to arrive a few minutes early on your first visit so you can find a spot and get oriented.
Children are warmly welcomed in the service — it's okay to get up to move with a fussy baby or to enter and exit as needed. Kids enjoy bringing forward the communion elements, serving as lectors, and becoming acolytes, and you'll find other families in the same boat.
A greeter will welcome you at the door and help you find a seat and a bulletin. There's no need to know when to stand, sit, or kneel — just follow along, and a neighbor will gladly help you find your place in the Book of Common Prayer.
The church is accessible to visitors with mobility needs, and ushers are happy to help you find seating that works best for you. Please call the office at (218) 724-3535 ahead of your visit with any specific accommodation questions.
Coffee hour follows the Sunday morning service in the parish hall — a relaxed time to meet clergy, ask questions, and connect with parishioners over coffee and refreshments.

We believe Christian faith is formed through community, practice, and prayer—not just study. Through Godly Play, youth formation, Confirmation, Bible study, and spiritual practice groups, people of every age grow into deeper relationship with God.
We believe a rich spiritual life equips us to serve others and pursue justice in the world. Our social justice ministries express our conviction that following Jesus means caring for our neighbors and working for a more compassionate community.
