Our Faith
We believe in one God who exists as three coequal and coeternal persons: the Father, creator of all that exists; the Son, Jesus Christ; and the Holy Spirit. These three persons of the Trinity are one God.
We believe Jesus Christ, the Son of God, became human to suffer and die for the sins of all people and rose again to life, winning the ultimate victory over death and Satan. By His substitutionary death, He purchased forgiveness and eternal life for all.
We believe the Holy Spirit creates saving faith in Christ through God's Word and the Sacraments. It is God who gives people forgiveness and the gift of faith, not human effort.
We believe salvation is by God's grace alone. Though people are sinful and rebel against Him, God loves the world and sent His Son to save the ungodly, apart from any merit of their own.
We believe that those who hear the Good News of Jesus and believe it receive the forgiveness and eternal life He won on the cross. This salvation is received through faith alone, which God Himself creates.
