Our Faith
As an Episcopal parish, St. Thomas centers its common life on the worship of God, expressed through liturgy, music, prayer, and the joyful celebration of the Holy Eucharist. The sacraments are understood as outward and visible signs of God's inward and spiritual grace.
The church's mission is 'To Know Christ's Love and To Make It Known.' Episcopalians worship one God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — and believe that God is fully revealed in Jesus Christ, whose love is the foundation of the church's faith and witness.
Following the Episcopal tradition, the church holds the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to contain all things necessary to salvation. Faith is grounded in Scripture, the historic creeds, and the worship of the Book of Common Prayer.
St. Thomas teaches that all we have comes from God. Members commit their time, talent, and treasure to God's work, and take action to protect and restore creation and to promote human dignity and justice.
The church fosters spiritual growth and calls its members to know, love, respect, care for, and nurture one another. Pastoral care is shared throughout the congregation in support of the clergy.
Following the example of Jesus Christ, St. Thomas welcomes all who seek to know God with open hearts and open minds. The church respects, nurtures, and supports each person and shares its gifts with the wider world.

Free parking on site and along neighbouring streets. Accessible spaces near the main entrance.
Children's Sunday School is offered during the sermon. A nursery is available for infants and toddlers.
Please introduce yourself to the priest or a greeter after the service. A welcome card is in each pew.
The church is wheelchair-accessible. Large-print bulletins and hearing-loop assistance are available on request.
Coffee hour in the parish hall immediately following the service — all are warmly invited.
