Saint John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church is a self-governing Eastern Catholic parish founded in 1892 by Slavic immigrants from the Carpathian region to preserve their unique spiritual, liturgical, and cultural heritage. Today it serves as part of the Byzantine Catholic Eparchy of Passaic, New Jersey, in communion with the Roman Catholic Church.
