PORTICO Community Church is a Pentecostal church with one message but many expressions, representing over 90 nations across campuses in Mississauga and Milton, Ontario. Their mission is 'Helping people find their way back to God' through core values of connect, grow, and serve.
Our Faith
We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and together are the one true God.
We believe salvation comes through repentance from sin and the acceptance of Jesus Christ, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. It is by faith in Christ alone that a person is reconciled to God.
As part of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, we believe the Holy Spirit is fully God and is at work empowering believers to grow in Christ-likeness and to serve Christ's mission in the world.
We believe believers of all ages should be baptized in water by immersion. Baptism is an outward, public declaration of a person's faith in and commitment to Jesus Christ, made when they are ready.
We observe Communion once a month as an act of remembrance, reflecting on the sacrifice of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on the cross. It is a meaningful practice shared by the gathered church family.
Your First Visit
Free parking is available on-site at both the Mississauga and Milton campuses, with team members on hand to help you find a spot when you arrive.
Children are warmly welcomed at Portico. Parents are encouraged to dedicate their children back to God as a public declaration of their desire to raise them according to biblical principles, and safe, age-appropriate kids' ministry is provided during the service.
As a first-time guest you'll be greeted by a friendly team who can answer questions and help you get connected. Portico is one church in two locations — Mississauga and Milton, Ontario — with over 90 nations represented, so you'll find a welcoming and diverse family. Check out the 'Sundays at Portico' info before you come.
Portico is committed to being welcoming and accessible to everyone, in keeping with AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) standards. If you have specific accessibility needs, the welcome team is glad to assist.
Stop by for coffee and refreshments before or after the service — it's a relaxed way to meet people and ask any questions you might have.

Rather than infant baptism, we encourage parents to dedicate their children back to God. This is a public declaration of the parents' desire to raise their children according to biblical principles.
