Our Faith
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God and the supreme authority for faith, doctrine, and practice. The Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments reveal God's will for humanity and guide every aspect of Christian living.
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Each is fully God, equal in power and glory, working together in creation, redemption, and sanctification.
We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, born of the Virgin Mary, fully God and fully man. Through His sinless life, atoning death on the cross, bodily resurrection, and ascension, He alone provides salvation for all who trust in Him.
We believe salvation is the free gift of God, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone — not by works. All who repent of sin and confess Jesus as Lord are justified, born again by the Holy Spirit, and adopted into God's family.
We believe in two ordinances given by Christ to the church: baptism by immersion of believers as a public declaration of faith, and the Lord's Supper as a memorial of Christ's sacrifice. Both are acts of obedience that proclaim the gospel.

Your First Visit
Free parking is available on-site at 955 20th Street South, with additional street parking nearby. Greeters are happy to help direct first-time visitors.
Children are welcome in worship, and we offer dedicated Children and Youth Ministry programs including Masterpieces, KYDS, and One80 Teens to nurture young hearts in the faith.
First-time visitors are warmly welcomed at Mt. Zion. Stop by the welcome area when you arrive — our greeters will help you find a seat, introduce you to the ministries, and answer any questions about becoming a Mt. Zionite.
Our sanctuary and Family Life Center are wheelchair accessible with accessible entrances and seating. Please let an usher know if you need any additional assistance during your visit.
Light refreshments and fellowship time are often available before or after service in the Family Life Center, giving visitors a chance to meet members of the Mt. Zion family.

We believe the local church is a covenant community of baptized believers called to worship, discipleship, fellowship, and mission. Every believer is commissioned to share the gospel, make disciples, and serve the community in Christ's name.
We believe in the visible, bodily return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, and the final judgment. Those who have trusted Christ will enjoy eternal life with God, while the unrepentant will be eternally separated from Him.
