Lutheran Church of the Palms is a community of believers in Christ that emphasizes welcome and inclusivity, offering spiritual growth through worship and fellowship as a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America.
Our Faith
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the authoritative source and norm for our faith and life. Through Word and Music together, the gospel is proclaimed afresh each week in worship.
As Lutherans we confess that we are saved by God's grace alone, through faith in Jesus Christ, and not by our own works. This good news of God's unconditional love is the heart of everything we proclaim.
We are a community of believers in Christ, crucified and risen, in whom God reconciles the world to himself. Through him we receive forgiveness, new life, and the promise of eternal life.
We believe Holy Baptism and Holy Communion are means of grace through which God comes to us with forgiveness and life. Holy Communion is celebrated weekly as the center of our worship around Word and Sacrament.
We gather in traditional liturgical worship, using the ELW hymnal and varied liturgical settings to carry us through the seasons of the church year. Worship forms our common life and invites every member to participate and serve.
