Grace United Methodist Church is a welcoming and active neighborhood church in Cheyenne, focusing on gathering, responding, accepting, caring, and engaging with the community.
Our Faith
Grace United Methodist believes that God's grace is freely offered to all people and goes before us, drawing us toward God. In the Wesleyan tradition, this grace justifies, forgives, and continually transforms believers into faithful disciples — 'Grace sharing Grace unconditionally.'
The church worships one God revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Members find their common identity and purpose in the love and service of this God, gathering each week to worship and respond to God's call.
Grace UMC follows Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and calls people to grow as faithful disciples. Living together as a community, members engage in the work of following Christ and maturing in faith.
Reflecting the United Methodist witness of 'Open Hearts, Open Doors, and Open Minds,' the church accepts all persons as children of God with sacred worth. It welcomes everyone — across many backgrounds and traditions — to join the journey of faith.
The church understands itself as a connectional family of faithful people called to gather, respond, accept, care, and engage. It actively serves the needs of its neighborhood and the wider world as an expression of Christ's love.
