Contact UsCommunity Christian Reformed Church is a diverse family of believers dedicated to growing in relationship with God, each other, and the community, centered around the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Our Faith
Community CRC has built its foundation upon biblical authority since 1948, holding Scripture to be the authoritative Word of God. The congregation seeks to follow Jesus by learning and obeying his Word.
The church confesses Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. He calls his followers to walk the path he walked over 2,000 years ago — the way of love for God and love for neighbour, lived out in service, sacrifice, and humility.
As a Reformed church rooted in the 16th-century Protestant Reformation, Community CRC believes that every square inch of the world belongs to God and matters to him. Faith is an all-encompassing tradition applied to every facet of life — work, family, hobbies, and neighbourhood.
The congregation affirms the Apostles' Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the Athanasian Creed as comprehensive explanations of the historic Christian faith shared by the whole church.
Because its roots are in the sixteenth-century Reformation, the church affirms three historic Reformed confessions: the Belgic Confession, the Canons of Dort, and the Heidelberg Catechism.

Drawing on the original Greek word ekklesia — a gathering or assembly — the church understands itself as Christ's living, breathing body on earth, centred on Jesus and growing in relationship with God, one another, and the surrounding community.
