Calvary Lutheran Church is a Missouri Synod congregation committed to worship and teaching.
Our Faith
We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God and the final authority for faith and life. As the page affirms, 'The Word of the Lord Endures Forever,' and God's commandments are to be written on our hearts and taught diligently.
We believe sinners are justified by God's grace alone, through faith alone in Jesus Christ, apart from any works of our own. This forgiveness is a free gift won by Christ's death and resurrection.
We confess one true God in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Father creates, the Son redeems, and the Holy Spirit sanctifies and calls us to faith.
We believe Jesus Christ is both fully God and fully man, who lived a sinless life, died on the cross to atone for the sins of the world, and rose again, securing eternal life for all who believe in Him.
We believe God delivers His forgiveness and grace through Holy Baptism and the Lord's Supper. In the Sacrament of the Altar, Christ is truly present, giving His body and blood for the forgiveness of sins.
