Our Faith
Trinity Presbyterian holds the Bible as the authoritative witness to God's Word, central to worship, study, and the life of faith. As a Reformed congregation, they encourage members and seekers alike to engage Scripture thoughtfully and to ask big questions of it.
The church worships one God in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—in keeping with the historic Christian and Reformed confessions of the Presbyterian Church (USA). God is known supremely in Jesus Christ, whose followers are called to be his hands and feet in the world.
Tracing their theological heritage to the Protestant Reformation, Trinity affirms the Reformed conviction that the church is 'reformed and always reforming according to the Word of God.' This shapes a faith that is rooted in tradition yet open to the Spirit's ongoing work.
In the Reformed tradition, salvation is understood as the free gift of God's grace through Jesus Christ, not something earned. Trinity welcomes all people—lifelong believers and those new to faith—to explore and deepen their relationship with God.
Trinity describes itself as a church family where there is 'room at the table for everyone who wants to come,' even amid honest disagreement. They believe Christians are called to live well in community and to love their neighbors as themselves.
