Trinity Lutheran Church is a welcoming and affirming congregation that strives to love and serve one another while celebrating all people, regardless of their background.
Our Faith
As a Lutheran congregation, Trinity believes that people are saved by God's grace alone, received through faith in Jesus Christ, and not earned by human works. This good news of God's love and grace is at the heart of the congregation's witness.
Trinity holds that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the authoritative source and norm for Christian faith and life. Scripture reveals God's saving work in Jesus Christ and guides the congregation's worship, teaching, and ministry.
Trinity confesses faith in one God in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This God creates, redeems through Jesus Christ, and sustains the church through the Holy Spirit.
Following Lutheran practice, Trinity celebrates Holy Baptism and Holy Communion as means of grace through which God delivers the promise of forgiveness and new life. Christ is truly present in the bread and wine of the Lord's Supper.
As a Reconciling in Christ congregation of the ELCA, Trinity welcomes all people, affirming that everyone is created and loved by God regardless of background. The church seeks to be a place of belonging and reconciliation in Christ.
