St. Thomas Episcopal Church in St. Petersburg, FL, is dedicated to making a difference for others as God makes a difference for us, creating a safe, loving, and accepting place for people to grow in their faith.
Our Faith
We are guided by the "three-legged stool" of Scripture, Tradition, and Reason. The Bible is primary; the Church's tradition and human reason illuminate its meaning for each generation.
We affirm the Apostles' Creed and the Nicene Creed as faithful summaries of the Christian faith. They unite us with Christians across centuries and denominations.
We celebrate Baptism and the Eucharist as the two sacraments ordained by Christ. The Lord's Supper is the central act of Anglican worship — we are fed by Christ's body and blood.
Our worship is shaped by the Book of Common Prayer — a treasury of Scripture, prayer, and liturgy that forms us in the faith and unites Anglicans worldwide.
We stand as a "middle way" — holding together Catholic order, evangelical faith, and Reformed theology. We welcome all to the table of grace in a spirit of generous orthodoxy.

Visiting Our Parish
Free on-site parking is available at our Snell Isle location, and our greeters are happy to help you find your way in.
Nursery care is provided for our youngest guests, and children are welcome in worship. We also offer Youth Christian Formation and an Acolyte Guild for kids and teens.
Our greeters will welcome you at the door and help you feel at home. There's no need to know the liturgy in advance — simply follow along, and feel free to sit, stand, or kneel as you are comfortable. All are welcome.
We strive to be a welcoming and accessible space for all. If you have specific accessibility needs, the parish office (727-896-9641) is glad to help you plan your visit.
Join us for fellowship and coffee after the service — a relaxed chance to meet parishioners and clergy and ask any questions you may have.
