Contact UsSt. Mary and St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church is a congregation serving Northern Ontario that offers prayer, worship, and Bible study rooted in 2000 years of Christian Orthodox faith. The church welcomes everyone to experience Jesus Christ's salvation through traditional liturgy and community fellowship.
Our Faith
We believe in one God in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — co-equal, co-eternal, and of one essence. The Holy Trinity is the wellspring of all Christian life and worship.
We believe God the Son became flesh in Jesus Christ — fully God and fully human — for our salvation. The Incarnation is the central miracle of Christian faith.
We believe the purpose of salvation is theosis — union with God. Through the sacraments, prayer, and ascetic practice, we are transformed into the likeness of Christ and participate in divine life.
We believe in the unity of Holy Scripture and Holy Tradition as one Revelation, preserved and interpreted by the Church through the Holy Spirit.
We celebrate the seven Holy Mysteries (sacraments) of the Church — including the Eucharist, Baptism, Chrismation, Confession, Holy Orders, Marriage, and Holy Unction — as means of divine grace and transformation.

Children worship with their families in the Orthodox tradition. A children's corner with icons is provided.
