Come as you are. Everyone is welcome here.
Celebrating our 200th Year, Second Congregational Church is a welcoming beacon of faith, love, and service since 1824.
Our Faith
We believe the Bible is God's inspired and authoritative Word — our guide for faith, life, and everything that matters. Scripture is the lens through which we understand the world.
We believe Jesus is the Son of God, fully human and fully divine. Through His death and resurrection, every person who trusts in Him is forgiven, reconciled to God, and given eternal life.
We believe salvation is a free gift — received by faith, not earned by works. God's grace is available to everyone. Anyone who repents and believes in Jesus is welcomed into God's family.
We believe the Holy Spirit lives in every believer, empowering us to know God, live like Jesus, and serve one another. The Spirit gifts us for ministry and grows us in love.
We believe the Church is the family of God — people from every background gathered by the Gospel. We're called to love one another, serve our community, and share the Good News with the world.

First Time?
Free parking is available on-site, and greeters are happy to point you toward the nearest entrance when you arrive.
We love families. A full Children's Program, Sunday School, Confirmation, and Youth Group are offered so kids and teens have a safe, age-appropriate place to learn and belong.
First-time guests are warmly welcomed with no pressure and no spotlight. Simply arrive a few minutes early, and a greeter will help you find your way, get settled, and answer any questions.
We strive to make worship accessible to everyone. If you have specific accessibility needs, please reach out ahead of time at (781) 383-0345 or SCC02025@gmail.com and we'll be glad to help.
Stick around after the service for coffee and fellowship. It's a relaxed way to meet people and ask anything you're curious about.
