Oregon City Evangelical Church is a community-focused evangelical church offering worship, discipleship, and ministry programs for all ages including kids, youth, and seniors.
Our Faith
We believe there is but one true and living God, eternally existing as a Trinity of one substance and power—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—coeternal and coequal.
We believe in the deity of Christ, His virgin birth, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to glory, and His coming again.
We believe the Holy Scriptures in their entirety—the sixty-six canonical books of the Old and New Testaments—are the inspired, inerrant, written Word of God, containing all that is necessary for us to know for salvation.
We believe that through Adam's transgression humanity is fallen from original righteousness and, apart from the grace of Christ, is destitute of holiness and inclined to evil. Unless a person is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.
We believe that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, and that Christ's death on the cross was the perfect and sufficient sacrifice for sin, offered freely to all who believe.
We believe in the Spirit-filled life and the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit, which flows from the believer's total consecration to the whole will of God.
