Morning Star Baptist Church is committed to improving the quality of spiritual and economic life for its membership and for residents of the surrounding community.
Our Faith
Morning Star Baptist Church exists to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ and to share His love with the world. The church believes the good news of Christ is the message it is called to carry to every person, both locally and internationally.
The church seeks to help every person believe in God and come to saving faith in Jesus Christ. Salvation is found in returning to Christ in love and in the obedience that flows from genuine faith.
MSBC is committed to helping every Christian grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. Through ongoing discipleship, believers are nurtured to live for Christ at the highest level and mature in their walk of faith.
The church understands itself as an international body of worshippers — the remnant called to return to Jesus Christ in love and obedience. Believers are joined together to love one another in the greatest way.
Worship of God and faithful stewardship of His gifts are central to the life of the congregation. The church gathers to honor Christ and to manage what God has entrusted to it for His purposes.
