Living Hope Baptist Church exists to know Christ and make Him known, focusing on preaching, fellowship, and making disciples.
Our Faith
The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God's revelation of Himself to man, having God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth without any mixture of error for its matter. All Scripture is totally true and trustworthy, and is the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and religious opinions should be tried.
There is one and only one living and true God, an intelligent, spiritual, and personal Being who is the Creator, Redeemer, Preserver, and Ruler of the universe. The eternal triune God reveals Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes but without division of nature, essence, or being.
Christ is the eternal Son of God, conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, fully God and fully man yet without sin. In His substitutionary death on the cross He made provision for the redemption of men from sin, was raised bodily from the dead, ascended to the right hand of God as the One Mediator, and will return in power and glory to judge the world.
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, fully divine, who inspired the writing of Scripture and enables believers to understand truth. He convicts of sin, calls people to the Saviour, effects regeneration, baptizes every believer into the Body of Christ, and seals the believer unto the day of final redemption.

Man is the special creation of God, made in His own image, created male and female as the crowning work of His creation. Humanity is the object of God's redeeming love, yet through free choice fell into sin and is in need of the salvation provided through Jesus Christ.
Living Hope Baptist Church and its Elders affirm the Baptist Faith & Message 2000 and are in essential agreement with the 1689 Second London Baptist Confession and the Abstract of Principles, standing firmly within the historic Reformed Baptist tradition.
