Our Faith
The gospel is the good news that God, who is more holy than we can imagine, looked with compassion on people who are more sinful than they would admit, and sent Jesus into history to establish His Kingdom and reconcile people and the world to Himself. Through Christ's sacrificial death and resurrection, believers gain by grace what the Bible defines as new and eternal life.
Scripture is the church's authority for knowing God and living faithfully. Members are called to grow in a biblical understanding of God and to let His Word shape their attitudes, desires, and actions.
Humanity's greatest need is to be rescued from eternal separation from God caused by sin. God's loving provision for this need is eternal and abundant life in relationship with Him, made possible only through Christ's sacrifice and resurrection.
Lifelong transformation into closeness and conformity with Jesus is possible only by the Holy Spirit. He guides believers, empowers them, and brings them to maturity as disciples of Christ.
The church is a family committed to living out Jesus Christ's call to discipleship. Disciples are called to draw near to God, abide in Jesus, imitate Christ's servant attitude, follow His example, and obey His commandments.
