Embrace Church is a faith community located in Lexington, Kentucky that offers Sunday and Monday services with a focus on biblical teaching and community engagement.
Our Faith
We believe the Holy Scriptures are the inspired and inerrant Word of God, containing all things necessary for salvation. Scripture is the primary authority for Christian life and teaching.
We believe God's grace goes before us, enabling all people to respond to His call. No one is beyond the reach of God's love, and all may be saved through repentance and faith.
We believe in justification by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and in entire sanctification — the work of the Holy Spirit that cleanses the heart and empowers holy living.
We practice the means of grace Wesley identified: Scripture reading, prayer, fasting, Holy Communion, and Christian conferencing — all as channels through which God works in us.
We believe there is no holiness but social holiness. Our faith calls us outward in service to the poor, the marginalized, and the broken — following the pattern of Jesus.
Your First Visit
There is plenty of parking available on-site. We're located just north of downtown near Castlewood Park at 1015 N. Limestone St.
Children ages 6 months to 3 years are welcomed in our nursery, cared for by highly-qualified caregivers. Kids 4 years through 5th grade are invited to our 'Wonder Room' during the service (they're led there after the music portion), except on the first Sunday of the month when children stay with their families for the whole service.
Friendly greeters will welcome you at the door and show you where to go, so you'll never have to figure things out on your own. We're a multigenerational, multiethnic community and we'd love to have you join us at 11:00am.
We strive to make everyone feel welcome and want all guests to be able to fully participate in worship. If you have any accessibility needs, please reach out ahead of time or let a greeter know and we'll gladly assist.
Stop by for fresh coffee and donuts when you arrive—it's a relaxed way to settle in and meet a few people before the service begins.
