Elm City Church is a non-denominational congregation in Keene, NH that practices the way of Jesus together, gathering to celebrate the resurrected Jesus, learn from the Bible, and encourage one another in faith.
Our Faith
We believe that the Scriptures are true, authoritative, and sufficient for faith and life (2 Timothy 3:16). They are God's reliable revelation and the final standard for what we believe and how we live.
We believe there is only one living and true God (Deuteronomy 6:4). He alone is to be worshiped and trusted as the Creator and Lord of all.
We believe in the unity of the Godhead—God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. They are three distinct persons, of one substance, and equal in power and authority.
We believe that all people, apart from Christ, are sinners by nature and by choice (Romans 3:23). The deserved penalty for our sin is death, both physical and spiritual, leaving us in need of a Savior.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, born of a virgin, fully God and fully human, and without sin. He was crucified as a substitute to pay the penalty for our sin, rose physically from the grave, and ascended to the right hand of the Father.

We believe that only by trusting in the person and work of Jesus Christ can we be reconciled to God and experience true life and joy (John 14:6; Acts 4:12). Salvation is received by faith in Him alone.
We believe that Jesus Christ will one day physically return to the earth to bring about the consummation of the kingdom of God and to judge the living and the dead (Acts 1:11).
