Contact UsEben-Ezer Mennonite Church is a faith community where people can meet Jesus, engage in life-changing community, and discover their gifts for Christ. The church shares facilities at Windsor Street and Marshall Avenue in Abbotsford with the Lao Christian Church, creating a multicultural worship environment.
Our Faith
There is one eternally existing God in three distinct persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the unchangeable Creator of all things, visible and invisible, perfect in love, power, holiness, knowledge, wisdom, justice, and mercy, and worthy of all glory and praise.
God has made himself known through his Son, Jesus Christ, who is the visible image of the invisible God, through the holy Scriptures, and through all of creation. These are the means by which we come to know who God is.
Humans, both male and female, were created in God's image for his glory. The first humans, Adam and Eve, were made without sin and appointed as caretakers of the rest of God's creation.
When Adam and Eve chose to disobey God, they ceased to be what they were made to be and became distorted images of God. Their sin broke fellowship with God and has fractured all of creation ever since.
Jesus Christ came to reconcile us with God. He lived without sin and willingly died on the cross to pay the penalty for our transgressions, and God raised him from the dead. By grace, God offers eternal life as a free gift to all who follow Christ by faith as Lord and Savior—so salvation is found in Christ alone.

The Church is the visible body of Christ, sent into the world to glorify God and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. As a Mennonite community, it lives out this calling together as a people committed to following Christ.
Jesus Christ will return one day to judge both the living and the dead and to usher in the fullness of God's kingdom on earth. This hope shapes the church's life and witness in the present.
