Crossroads Presbyterian Church is a congregation of hospitable, thoughtful, and committed progressive Christians who share a common life together that enables us to grow in faith and to serve one another and God’s world with compassion and joy.
Our Faith
We believe God is absolutely sovereign over all things — creation, providence, and salvation. He works all things according to the counsel of His will for His glory.
We hold to the Reformed confession that Holy Scripture is the only infallible rule for faith and life. No tradition or church authority may stand above the Word of God.
We affirm the five solas of the Reformation. Salvation is entirely God's gracious gift, received through faith alone, grounded entirely in Christ's atoning work.
We understand God's relationship with His people through the biblical covenants. Baptism is a covenant sign for believers and their children, marking membership in the covenant community.
We are guided by the historic Reformed confessions — Westminster Confession, Heidelberg Catechism, or the Belgic Confession — as faithful summaries of biblical teaching.

Your First Visit
Parking is available on-site at 70 Cross Road, Waterford. Arrive a few minutes early and a greeter can help you find your way in.
Children are welcome. As is common in Presbyterian churches, you can expect nursery care for little ones and Sunday school for older children—just ask a greeter where to go.
First-time guests are warmly welcomed—arrive a little before the 10:00 am service and let a greeter know it's your first time. The congregation also offers a Zoom option for those who can't attend in person.
The church seeks to welcome everyone. If you have specific accessibility needs, call the office at (860) 442-3693 ahead of your visit and the staff will gladly help you plan.
After worship you're invited to stay for a Fellowship time, where coffee and refreshments are served and you can meet the pastor and members of the congregation.
