Our Faith
What We Believe
The Bible
We believe that the Bible is God's Word, true and without error from beginning to end. It is how God reveals himself and his plan to rescue people through Jesus.
The Triune God
We believe there is only one true God, who is holy, loving, eternal, and all-powerful. He reveals himself in Scripture as Triune—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus is fully God, God's own Son, and also fully human, born of the virgin Mary. He suffered and died on the cross to pay for the sins of the world and rose to life on Easter morning.
The Gospel and Salvation
We believe that in his love, God sent Jesus to reconcile us to himself by fully and freely taking away the sins of all people. God brings us the blessings of salvation—full forgiveness and eternal life in heaven—through faith in Jesus, with nothing required of us.
Faith as God's Gift
We believe that faith is a gift from God; we cannot decide for Christ on our own. Because God chose us, the Holy Spirit works through the gospel to give us spiritual rebirth and to empower us for godly living.
Baptism and Holy Communion
We believe the sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion are special means by which God delivers his grace, forgives sins, and empowers us for godly living.

Free on-site parking is available at the North Nampa campus (6134 Birch Lane), with spaces close to the entrance for first-time guests.

Children
Children are warmly welcomed in worship, and families will find a caring, Bible-centered environment. As a confessional Lutheran church, Cross of Christ values teaching the faith to the next generation.

First Visit
First-time visitors are encouraged to join Sunday worship at the North Nampa campus at 9:30 AM, with adult Bible study following at 11:00 AM. Simply arrive a few minutes early, and a friendly member will help you find your way and feel at home.
