Blessed Sacrament Parish is a community-focused Catholic church committed to renewal and growth through various parish initiatives and support for communal and spiritual needs.
Our Faith
We believe that in the Eucharist the bread and wine truly become the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ through transubstantiation. Christ is really, substantially, and personally present in the Blessed Sacrament, which is the source and summit of the Christian life and the center of our parish's worship and devotion.
We profess one God in three divine Persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This mystery of the Triune God revealed by Jesus Christ is the central mystery of the Catholic faith and the foundation of all Christian belief.
We believe that Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became incarnate, suffered, died on the Cross, and rose again for the salvation of all people. Through his Passion, Death, and Resurrection he reconciles humanity to the Father and opens the way to eternal life.
We believe Christ entrusted to the Church seven sacraments — Baptism, Confirmation, the Eucharist, Reconciliation, Anointing of the Sick, Holy Orders, and Matrimony. These are efficacious signs of grace through which the divine life is dispensed to the faithful, and we prepare candidates for them through programs such as First Communion, Confirmation, and the RCIA.

Our People
Reverend
3040 Heather St, Vancouver, BC V5Z 3K3, Vancouver, British Columbia, V5Z 3K3
We believe that God's revelation is handed on through both Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition, faithfully interpreted by the Magisterium — the teaching authority of the Church in communion with the Pope and the bishops. The faithful are called to grow in this truth through ongoing formation and catechesis.
We believe the Catholic Church was founded by Christ and is guided by the successors of the apostles — the bishops in union with the Pope. We are united in communion with our Archbishop and the Archdiocese of Vancouver, and we pray for and encourage vocations to the priesthood and consecrated life.
We believe every human life is sacred from conception to natural death, created in the image of God. This conviction calls us to defend life at every stage and to uphold faith-based care that respects the God-given dignity of every person.
