Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church is a church of the Unaltered Augsburg Confession and a member congregation of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
Our Faith
We believe in one God in three persons—the Father, creator of all that exists; Jesus Christ, the Son; and the Holy Spirit. The three persons of the Trinity are coequal and coeternal, one God.
We believe Jesus Christ, the Son of God, became human to suffer and die for the sins of all people and rose again to life in ultimate victory over death and Satan. By His suffering and death as our substitute, He won forgiveness and eternal life for all.
We believe that God loves the people of the world even though they are sinful, rebel against Him, and do not deserve His love. He sent His Son, Jesus, to love the unlovable and save the ungodly.
We believe that those who hear the Good News of Jesus and believe it receive the eternal life it offers. God Himself creates faith in Christ and gives people forgiveness through Him.
We believe the Bible is God's inerrant and infallible Word, in which He reveals His Law and His Gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ. It is the sole rule and norm for Christian doctrine.
