The Carmelite Monastery of Salt Lake City is a cloistered community of Discalced Carmelite Nuns following the spiritual teachings of St. Teresa of Jesus and St. John of the Cross. The community is devoted to contemplative prayer and intercession for priests and souls. They also produce altar breads, handmade candy, jams, and religious goods.
