Our Faith
We believe the Holy Scriptures are the inspired and inerrant Word of God, containing all things necessary for salvation. Scripture is the primary authority for Christian life and teaching.
We believe God's grace goes before us, enabling all people to respond to His call. No one is beyond the reach of God's love, and all may be saved through repentance and faith.
We believe in justification by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and in entire sanctification — the work of the Holy Spirit that cleanses the heart and empowers holy living.
We practice the means of grace Wesley identified: Scripture reading, prayer, fasting, Holy Communion, and Christian conferencing — all as channels through which God works in us.
We believe there is no holiness but social holiness. Our faith calls us outward in service to the poor, the marginalized, and the broken — following the pattern of Jesus.
Your First Visit
Free parking is available on-site at 5708 Highway 187 North. Greeters are happy to direct first-time guests.
Children are warmly welcomed in worship. Zion offers a dedicated Children's Ministry and Sunday School for kids of all ages.
If you're new to Zion or the Anderson/Pendleton area, we extend the warm welcome that is characteristic of this community. Arrive a few minutes before 10 am and look for a greeter who can help you find your seat.
The sanctuary is accessible to guests with mobility needs. If you have specific accessibility questions, please call the church office at 864-287-9098 ahead of your visit.
Fellowship is a treasured part of life at Zion — coffee and refreshments are typically available before or after Sunday worship as a chance to connect.
