University Baptist Church in Fairbanks, Alaska, is dedicated to leading people to life in Christ.
Our Faith
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God and the supreme standard for all faith and conduct. Scripture is fully trustworthy and serves as the final authority for what we believe and how we live.
We believe in one true and living God, eternally existing in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is the Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer of all things.
We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose bodily from the dead. Through faith in His finished work, sinners are reconciled to God.
We believe salvation is a free gift of God's grace, received through repentance and personal faith in Jesus Christ, not earned by good works. Everyone who trusts in Christ is forgiven and given eternal life.
We believe baptism by immersion is for those who have personally professed faith in Christ, symbolizing the believer's union with Him in His death, burial, and resurrection. It is an act of obedience following salvation, not a means of it.

We believe the local church is a fellowship of baptized believers gathered for worship, discipleship, fellowship, and ministry. The church exists to glorify God and carry out the Great Commission.
We believe every believer is called to share the gospel and make disciples of all nations. This commitment is expressed in our local outreach and global missions efforts.
