Trinity United Church is a United Church congregation serving Guelph. Part of the United Church of Canada, this community gathers for worship, learning, and outreach in a spirit of inclusivity and grace.
Our Faith
Trinity United Church understands the Bible as the foundational witness to God's ongoing revelation, read thoughtfully in community and interpreted in light of scholarship, tradition, and the leading of the Holy Spirit.
The church affirms God as Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer, known most fully through Jesus Christ and present in the world through the Holy Spirit.
God's grace is understood to be freely offered to all people; the congregation seeks to be an affirming, welcoming community without exception, reflecting the United Church of Canada's commitment to full inclusion regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, or ability.
Following Jesus's example, the church believes faith must be expressed through social action, advocacy for the marginalized, and care for creation, seeing discipleship as inseparable from the pursuit of justice and reconciliation.
Baptism and Holy Communion are practiced as means of grace that unite the community with Christ and one another, with worship offering space for both reverence and open, communal participation.
