Trinity Episcopal Church is an Episcopal church located in Woodbridge, New Jersey, offering worship in the Anglican tradition with the Book of Common Prayer, the sacraments, and a welcoming community.
Our Faith
Trinity Episcopal Church worships one God in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. As an Episcopal congregation, the church confesses the Triune God revealed in Scripture and proclaimed in the historic creeds of the Church.
The church holds the Old and New Testaments to be the inspired Word of God, containing all things necessary for salvation. Scripture is read, proclaimed, and reflected upon in worship as the foundation of faith and Christian living.
Trinity affirms the Apostles' Creed and the Nicene Creed as sufficient statements of the Christian faith. These ancient creeds, recited in worship, summarize the church's belief in God's work of creation, redemption in Jesus Christ, and sanctification through the Holy Spirit.
The church celebrates Holy Baptism and the Holy Eucharist as the two great sacraments given by Christ. In Baptism a person is made a member of Christ's body, and in the Eucharist the congregation is nourished by the Body and Blood of Christ.
Following the Anglican tradition, Trinity gathers for worship grounded in the Book of Common Prayer, with services each Sunday and on holy days. Shared liturgy unites the congregation in praising God and forming a common life of faith.

Trinity believes the gospel calls Christians to seek and serve Christ in all people, loving their neighbors as themselves. This conviction is lived out through the church's outreach — a soup kitchen, food pantry, diaper bank, and support groups for the community.
