St. Paul's Episcopal Church is a welcoming and affirming congregation of the Episcopal Diocese of Wisconsin, part of the worldwide Anglican Communion.
Our Faith
We believe that in Christ's Resurrection, death has lost its power to annihilate and destroy. Because of this hope, we can face the end of earthly life faithfully, trusting that we will be reunited with our loved ones in the life to come.
We affirm the Old and New Testaments as the Word of God containing all things necessary to salvation. Scripture, read together with reason and the tradition of the Church, shapes our worship and daily living.
We worship one God in three Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We confess this faith in the words of the Apostles' and Nicene Creeds, the historic statements of Christian belief.
We hold Holy Baptism and the Holy Eucharist as the two great sacraments of the Gospel, outward and visible signs of inward and spiritual grace. The Lord's Table is central to our common worship.
Our shared life is grounded in the rhythms of the Book of Common Prayer, where Scripture, prayer, and sacrament unite us as one body. Worship forms us for faithful living and faithful dying.
