They are a welcoming, Christ-centered worshiping community inviting people to encounter Jesus, belong to a life-giving community, and discover their God-given purpose.
Our Faith
We are guided by the "three-legged stool" of Scripture, Tradition, and Reason. The Bible is primary; the Church's tradition and human reason illuminate its meaning for each generation.
We affirm the Apostles' Creed and the Nicene Creed as faithful summaries of the Christian faith. They unite us with Christians across centuries and denominations.
We celebrate Baptism and the Eucharist as the two sacraments ordained by Christ. The Lord's Supper is the central act of Anglican worship — we are fed by Christ's body and blood.
Our worship is shaped by the Book of Common Prayer — a treasury of Scripture, prayer, and liturgy that forms us in the faith and unites Anglicans worldwide.
We stand as a "middle way" — holding together Catholic order, evangelical faith, and Reformed theology. We welcome all to the table of grace in a spirit of generous orthodoxy.

Free parking is available on-site at 31899 WA-104 in Port Gamble. Arrive a few minutes early and a greeter can help you find your way in.
As an intergenerational community, children are warmly welcomed in worship. Little ones are a joyful part of our family, and a greeter can point you toward any children's ministry or care offered that morning.
Whether you're exploring faith or looking for a church home, you're welcome at The Gathering. Come early, introduce yourself to a greeter, and don't worry about knowing when to stand or sit—someone will gladly walk you through the service.
