Founded in 1910 as a split from St. George Byzantine Catholic Church (1896) to serve Ruthenian CatholicsChurch building dedicated September 25, 1924, after construction delays from World War IOperated SS. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic School from 1958-1992, staffed by Sisters of St. Basil the GreatHillcrest Hall catering facility, blessed in 1948, was originally envisioned as a fundraising mechanism to finance the parish schoolUnderwent extensive renovations in the 1990s-2010s including new domes, icons, church interior repainting, and rectory modernization
