Founded in 1867, initially called St. Timothy's Mission.The first church building was erected in 1880.The church was condemned as unsafe in 1965-1967 and rebuilt afterward.Demolition of the old church was completed in 1968, and a new church was dedicated in 1969.Acquired additional land next to McManis Hall in 1990.
