St. Paul's exists for the glory of God and the joy of all peoples, providing a Christ-centered community and worship experience.
Our Faith
We affirm faith in the one true God who eternally exists in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—the Maker of heaven and earth, as confessed by the historic Christian church in the Apostles' Creed.
We believe in Jesus Christ, God's only Son and our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, crucified, died, and was buried, and on the third day rose again. He ascended into heaven, is seated at the right hand of the Father, and will return to judge the living and the dead.
We believe that salvation is by grace alone (Sola Gratia), through faith alone (Sola Fide), in Christ alone (Solus Christus). Sinners are saved not by their own works or merit but as a free gift of God received by faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ.
We hold that the Bible alone (Sola Scriptura) is the inspired, authoritative Word of God and our final rule for faith and life. All doctrine, worship, and practice are to be measured by and submitted to Holy Scripture.
We believe that all of life, salvation, and worship exist ultimately for the glory of God alone (Soli Deo Gloria). The chief end of every person is to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever.
As a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), we hold to the doctrinal standards of the Westminster Confession of Faith, the Larger and Shorter Catechisms, and order our church life by the principles of the Book of Church Order.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, and the forgiveness of sins. We look forward in hope to the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting in the presence of God.
