An Anglican Church in the Old Village of Mt Pleasant, SC. We seek to present to all people the good news of Jesus Christ both intellectually and experientially; we are committed to Truth; we listen to God’s Word; we feed the poor and take in the lost and we seek to demonstrate God’s mercy both at home and around the world. You are warmly invited to join the conversation – and the lives – of those who have come here seeking hope and encouragement. Together we seek to grow in grace, faith, love, and work in unity for the flourishing of our community.
Our Faith
We are guided by the "three-legged stool" of Scripture, Tradition, and Reason. The Bible is primary; the Church's tradition and human reason illuminate its meaning for each generation.
We affirm the Apostles' Creed and the Nicene Creed as faithful summaries of the Christian faith. They unite us with Christians across centuries and denominations.
We celebrate Baptism and the Eucharist as the two sacraments ordained by Christ. The Lord's Supper is the central act of Anglican worship — we are fed by Christ's body and blood.
Our worship is shaped by the Book of Common Prayer — a treasury of Scripture, prayer, and liturgy that forms us in the faith and unites Anglicans worldwide.
We stand as a "middle way" — holding together Catholic order, evangelical faith, and Reformed theology. We welcome all to the table of grace in a spirit of generous orthodoxy.
Visiting Our Parish
Free parking is available on-site at our Mt. Pleasant location, and greeters are happy to help direct first-time visitors when you arrive.
St. Andrew's has a dedicated Children's Ministry with age-appropriate programs, along with a Youth ministry for older kids — your whole family will find a place here.
You'll be warmly welcomed whether you're a lifelong believer or exploring faith for the first time. Skeptics and seekers are encouraged to bring their honest questions and doubts, and the Alpha Course offers a relaxed way to wrestle with the Christian faith. Stop by the Where to Begin desk and a greeter will help you get connected.
Hearing assistance is available, and our building is accessible for those with mobility needs. Let a greeter know if you need any accommodation and we'll be glad to help.
Coffee and fellowship time is offered around the service — a relaxed chance to meet others and ask any questions you may have.
