Sacred Heart Catholic Church is a parish established in 1911 in Ocean Beach, built on a foundation of love and community service. The church has grown from a small 40x24 foot wooden structure to a modern steel-reinforced concrete building with distinctive stained-glass windows illustrating the 12 promises of the Sacred Heart.
