Lighthouse Baptist Church is a Bible-believing Baptist church located in the historic Beverly district of Northeast Edmonton, Alberta, dedicated to glorifying God by worshiping Him and making disciples of Jesus Christ of all nations according to His Word.
Our Faith
We believe the Old and New Testament Scriptures are the God-breathed Word of God, inerrant and completely trustworthy in their original manuscripts, and preserved by God through transmission and translation. Scripture is its own interpreter and the only proper content for preaching, central to the worship and life of the church.
We believe in the only true and living God, who exists eternally as three equal Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—one in essence yet distinct in role in creation, providence, and redemption. He is infinite, eternal, and unchangeable, perfect in love, holiness, wisdom, justice, and grace, and worthy of unceasing worship.
We believe God created angels as rational, powerful spiritual beings made to glorify Him and serve His people. A portion fell into rebellion, becoming demons led by Satan, who works to oppose God's purposes only by divine permission and awaits final judgment, his downfall promised in the gospel and secured through Christ.
