King of Kings Lutheran Church is a diverse, joyful, and welcoming community gathered together by God to celebrate and proclaim the wonderful news of God’s love for us and for the world in Jesus Christ.
Our Faith
As Lutherans, we embrace and celebrate God's grace. We cannot earn God's love by anything we do — it is pure gift, freely given. Justification by grace through faith stands at the center of our faith and life together.
Jesus Christ is the visible expression and ultimate embodiment of God's grace and love. In him we know the wonderful news of God's love for us and for the whole world.
We are a community gathered by God to celebrate and proclaim the good news of God's love in Jesus Christ. Scripture is the living Word through which God continues to speak grace and call us to faith.
Worship is central to our life together, in a style best described as 'relaxed liturgical.' Through the means of grace — the Word, Baptism, and Holy Communion — God meets us and strengthens us in faith.
As a Reconciling in Christ congregation, we are publicly committed to welcoming and including people of every identity, including the LGBTQIA+ community, as visitors and members. We believe God's grace extends to all, and we are committed to the work of inclusion and anti-racism.
We believe every person is on a faith journey and a life journey, and that all are warmly welcomed by God wherever they are along the way. Faith grows in community as we support and serve one another.
