International Church of Oahu is a faith community with the motto "For Christ. For You. For Oahu." The church serves the Oahu community through its congregation and ministries.
Our Faith
God is the eternal Creator and sovereign Ruler of the universe, existing in three co-equal persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—who are one God. He possesses limitless knowledge, sovereign power, and infinite love, and has graciously purposed to redeem a people for Himself and make all things new.
The Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is God's Word, written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. Because it is God-breathed, it is divinely inspired truth without any mixture of error and is the supreme source of truth for Christians to believe and live by.
Jesus Christ is God the Son, co-equal with the Father and the Holy Spirit and existing from eternity. Virgin-born and fully God and fully man, He lived a sinless life, died on the cross as the perfect sacrifice for sin, rose from the dead after three days, ascended to the Father, and will return to reign as King of kings and Lord of lords.
The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son. He convicts people of their need for salvation, comes to live in every believer at the moment of salvation, and empowers Christians to understand spiritual truth, live godly lives, and exercise the spiritual gifts He gives.

People are made in the image of God—male and female, equally valuable—with inherent dignity, worth, and great potential for good. Yet through the Fall, sin entered the world, so all are sinners by nature and choice, alienated from God, under His judgment, and in need of rescue.
Salvation from the penalty and power of sin is God's free gift, received by faith alone in Jesus Christ and never earned through good works or self-improvement. Through Christ's death and resurrection as our sinless substitute, those who believe are forgiven, reconciled to God, and spiritually renewed.
