The Helderberg Reformed Church is a warm Christian community serving the greater Guilderland, New York community since 1767, committed to learning what it means to love God and love others.
Our Faith
We believe God is absolutely sovereign over all things — creation, providence, and salvation. He works all things according to the counsel of His will for His glory.
We hold to the Reformed confession that Holy Scripture is the only infallible rule for faith and life. No tradition or church authority may stand above the Word of God.
We affirm the five solas of the Reformation. Salvation is entirely God's gracious gift, received through faith alone, grounded entirely in Christ's atoning work.
We understand God's relationship with His people through the biblical covenants. Baptism is a covenant sign for believers and their children, marking membership in the covenant community.
We are guided by the historic Reformed confessions — Westminster Confession, Heidelberg Catechism, or the Belgic Confession — as faithful summaries of biblical teaching.

Your First Visit
Free parking is available on-site, and greeters can help direct first-time visitors to a convenient spot near the entrance.
Children are valued and welcome in worship. As a community that cherishes relationships and connections, the church gladly welcomes families with young ones.
We gather at 9am on Sunday mornings for prayer, song, and an encounter with God through the Word. On the first Sunday of each month we also receive Christ through the sacrament of communion. Visitors are encouraged to ask honest questions and are welcomed just as they are.
The church seeks to welcome everyone and reach out to those in need; please contact the office administrator ahead of your visit if you have specific accessibility needs so we can assist.
Plan to stay after the service for coffee and fellowship — it's a relaxed chance to meet members and connect with the life of the church.
