Contact UsÉglise catholique de Saint-Joseph is a parish committed to serving the spiritual needs of the Shediac community and surrounding areas within the Archdiocese of Moncton.
Our Faith
We believe in one God in three divine Persons — the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This central mystery of the Christian faith is the source and foundation of all Catholic teaching and worship.
We profess that Jesus Christ is true God and true man, who was crucified, died, and rose again for our salvation. Through his life, death, and resurrection, humanity is reconciled with God.
We celebrate the seven sacraments instituted by Christ — Baptism, Confirmation, the Eucharist, Reconciliation, Marriage, the Anointing of the Sick, and Holy Orders. These are efficacious signs of grace that sustain the life of faith from birth through death.
We believe that in the Mass the bread and wine truly become the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. The Eucharist is the source and summit of the Christian life and the heart of our parish worship.
We hold that God's revelation comes to us through both Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition, faithfully interpreted by the teaching authority of the Church. Both nourish and guide the faith of God's people.
