Our Faith
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the authoritative witness to Jesus Christ, the unique and trustworthy rule for faith and life. Through Scripture the life-giving words of the gospel are heard and the people of God are formed.
We believe in one God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is sovereign, beautiful, and faithful in every season of life, and no challenge is beyond God's redeeming care.
As a Christ-centered church, we confess Jesus Christ as the Son of God who lived, died, and rose again for our salvation. He is the center of our worship, our hope, and our shared life together.
We believe that salvation is a gift of God's grace received through faith, not earned by human effort. In Christ, God is faithful to redeem and transform broken lives and to reconcile the world to himself.
We believe God is worthy of beautiful, heartfelt worship, and that in worship the Holy Spirit transforms us into the likeness of Christ. Joyful service offered for God's glory becomes itself an act of worship.

Your First Visit
We have a small parking lot on the west side of the building, and there is ample free street parking nearby in downtown Rapid City.
A children's message is a regular part of our worship service, and families are warmly welcomed. Children are valued members of our congregation.
Make your way up the steps to the sanctuary, where you'll be greeted, handed a bulletin, and invited to find a seat. Our pastor and worship leaders guide you through the service, with many elements displayed on screens. Worship is traditional yet relaxed; if you know Catholic, Lutheran, or Episcopal services, you'll recognize the different parts. A typical service includes prayers, scripture reading, a children's message, and a sermon. Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of the month, and the table is open to everyone.
If mobility is an issue, there is a door to an elevator near the south end of our parking lot, providing step-free access to the sanctuary.
After worship, we welcome you downstairs for coffee and conversation.
