<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Greeting Saints! Welcome to the website of the Episcopal Church in Northern Indiana, the Crossroads of America. I’m Doug Sparks, and I have the privilege of serving as bishop of this diocese.</p><p style="text-align:start;white-space:pre-wrap;" class="">There are 29 Faith Communities or congregations, from Gary to Angola, South Bend to Kokomo, Valparaiso to Fort Wayne and everywhere in between. </p><p style="text-align:start;white-space:pre-wrap;" class=""> I’ve discovered that we are a diverse, generous, inspiring and hopeful community of Disciples who are members of the Growing Episcopal Branch of the Jesus Movement.</p>
Our Faith
We are guided by the "three-legged stool" of Scripture, Tradition, and Reason. The Bible is primary; the Church's tradition and human reason illuminate its meaning for each generation.
We affirm the Apostles' Creed and the Nicene Creed as faithful summaries of the Christian faith. They unite us with Christians across centuries and denominations.
We celebrate Baptism and the Eucharist as the two sacraments ordained by Christ. The Lord's Supper is the central act of Anglican worship — we are fed by Christ's body and blood.
Our worship is shaped by the Book of Common Prayer — a treasury of Scripture, prayer, and liturgy that forms us in the faith and unites Anglicans worldwide.
We stand as a "middle way" — holding together Catholic order, evangelical faith, and Reformed theology. We welcome all to the table of grace in a spirit of generous orthodoxy.

Visiting Our Parish
Free parking on site and along neighbouring streets. Accessible spaces near the main entrance.
Children's Sunday School is offered during the sermon. A nursery is available for infants and toddlers.
Please introduce yourself to the priest or a greeter after the service. A welcome card is in each pew.
The church is wheelchair-accessible. Large-print bulletins and hearing-loop assistance are available on request.
