The name Emmanuel means 'God with us,' expressing the church's belief that God has guided and remains present with them.
Our Faith
Emmanuel believes in one eternal God who alone is worthy of all praise and worship. The church's name, meaning 'God with us,' expresses their conviction that God has guided them throughout their history and remains present with them today.
The church holds that God's Word is to be proclaimed so that all who hear it may understand it, believe it, and obey it. Scripture is the trustworthy foundation for faith and life.
Emmanuel proclaims Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour and calls all people to know Him and become His disciples. Salvation and discipleship in Christ are central to the church's purpose.
The church teaches that every resource entrusted to its people is a gift from God. Believers are called to be good and grateful managers of all that God has given.
Because Jesus first loved them, members of Emmanuel are called to love and care for one another. Together they belong to Christ and live out that belonging in mutual support.

Free on-site parking is available at the church on County Road 124 between Nottawa and Duntroon.
Children and families are warmly welcomed in worship. As a congregation dedicated to ministering to both individuals and families, you can expect a friendly, family-oriented atmosphere.
First-time visitors are welcome regardless of background — those who worship at Emmanuel come from many religious backgrounds and from none. Arrive a few minutes early and a member will greet you and help you find a seat; no registration is needed.
It is modern, spacious, air conditioned and fully accessible.
A time of coffee and fellowship is typically offered after the service — a relaxed, unhurried chance to meet others and ask questions.
