Plan Your Visit →Christ Lutheran Church is a growing church family in northeast Sioux Falls, centered on receiving God's holy Word and Sacraments, and proclaiming the Good News of salvation in Jesus Christ.
Our Faith
We believe in the one true God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This Trinity is the foundation of the Christian faith we confess (Matt. 28:18-19; 2 Cor. 13:14).
We believe that all people are sinful by nature and, apart from Christ, deserve God's punishment now and forever. No one is righteous before God by their own works (Rom. 3:9-18, 23; 5:12).
We believe that God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, into the world as our substitute, sacrificed on the cross in payment for our sins. Christ is true God and true man, the only Redeemer and the only Mediator between God and man, who won forgiveness for the whole world.
We believe we are justified—declared righteous by God—solely by God's grace for Christ's sake through faith, apart from our works. This salvation by grace alone is the heart of the Reformation and the great glory of our God.
We believe the risen Christ gives His forgiveness to us through the means of grace—His holy Word and the Sacraments. Through these, faith is created and strengthened (Rom. 10:17).

Offered on Sunday mornings at 10:45 am and following Wednesday Matins at 9:00…

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and, as such, is free from error. Scripture is the only norm and rule for faith and life (2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21).
We confess that the three ecumenical creeds and the writings collected in the Book of Concord faithfully set forth the Scriptural faith. In Holy Communion, together with the bread and wine, we receive the true body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins and the strengthening of faith.
