Our Faith
We are guided by the "three-legged stool" of Scripture, Tradition, and Reason. The Bible is primary; the Church's tradition and human reason illuminate its meaning for each generation.
We affirm the Apostles' Creed and the Nicene Creed as faithful summaries of the Christian faith. They unite us with Christians across centuries and denominations.
We celebrate Baptism and the Eucharist as the two sacraments ordained by Christ. The Lord's Supper is the central act of Anglican worship — we are fed by Christ's body and blood.
Our worship is shaped by the Book of Common Prayer — a treasury of Scripture, prayer, and liturgy that forms us in the faith and unites Anglicans worldwide.
We stand as a "middle way" — holding together Catholic order, evangelical faith, and Reformed theology. We welcome all to the table of grace in a spirit of generous orthodoxy.

Visiting Our Parish
Parking is available near the church for Sunday worship. As a historic Old Town Alexandria parish, street and nearby lot parking are typically accessible on Sunday mornings, and greeters can help direct first-time visitors.
Children are warmly welcomed in worship. A Children's Chapel is offered during the 10:00 a.m. Sunday service, and the parish provides dedicated children's and youth programs for families.
First-time visitors are warmly welcomed—no need to register in advance. The 10:00 a.m. Holy Eucharist Rite II (also available via live stream) is a great place to start; simply arrive, follow along with the printed bulletin, and let a greeter help you feel at home.
The parish welcomes all and strives to make worship accessible to everyone. For specific accommodation needs, you're encouraged to contact the church office ahead of your visit.
Coffee and fellowship are typically offered after the principal Sunday service, a relaxed chance for newcomers to meet the clergy and parishioners before heading home.
